The specialized training, conducted from April 26 to May 15, was organized by the Ministry of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology in partnership with the National College of Policing and Law Enforcement.
The program aimed to strengthen strategic, operational, and ethical leadership capabilities among high-ranking personnel. The cohort included officers and staff from the Maldives Police Service, Maldives Customs Service, Maldives Immigration, the Maldives Correctional Service, and the National Drug Agency.
Minister of Homeland Security, Labour and Technology Ali Ihusaan attended the closing ceremony at the Iskandhar Building as the Chief Guest. He was joined by Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation Mohamed Ameen, Deputy Commissioner of Police Farhad Fikry, and other senior officials from across the home team agencies.
Throughout the course, participants engaged in scenario-based exercises and assignments designed to simulate real-world challenges. The curriculum focused on critical areas including crisis management, cybersecurity, governance, and inter-agency collaboration. To address the evolving nature of modern security, the program also integrated sessions on regional and international cooperation, administrative management, and a dedicated digital forum hosted by the National Digital Service.

The program's ultimate goal is to foster talent development and create high-quality, collaborative teams capable of responding effectively to national crises.
