Aasandha has said that the Maldives government's 'national unity' policy has continued to produce positive results since its implementation, and that the scheme has contributed to improving access to health services for the people of Maldives.
The company said the policy is being carried out in line with the government's objective of ensuring that Maldivians can obtain health services without difficulty, and that it has become a useful instrument in reducing the burden on people.
Aasandha also stated that it is working together with the government so that the services provided by the scheme can reach citizens more easily, and that it is continuing efforts to strengthen the system.
It noted that Aasandha has been operating since December 2016, and that during this period the scheme has served the people of Maldives and has become an institution supporting the policy of national unity.
Aasandha said that over time the services of the scheme have been improved and expanded, and that efforts are continuing to increase the range and quality of those services.
The company said that national unity is the basis of this work, and that cooperation among all parties and institutions is necessary for the development of Maldives.
Aasandha said: "The government is following the national unity policy, and its benefits are reaching the people. This work is not for one group; it is for the whole country. We are working to ensure that health services are available to all Maldivians. The country and the people are one, and this must remain the foundation."
It added: "The development of the country depends on unity. The government is fulfilling the promises made to the people. If all parties work together, this country can move forward. Everyone needs to support this effort."
Aasandha said it will continue to work, in coordination with the government, to strengthen the scheme, improve its administration, and ensure that its objectives are fulfilled for the benefit of the people.
It stated that the company will continue its efforts to make sure Maldivians can access health services without financial difficulty, and that this remains part of the national unity policy.
