Addu Resident Converts to Islam

A Sri Lankan resident working in Addu City embraced Islam after completing Shahadah (testimony of faith). The individual was introduced to Islamic teachings through the Mishka Foundation, an organization dedicated to spreading religious knowledge. The resident, formerly known as Jayasinha Aratchige, now goes by the name Abdullah Adam. The foundation confirmed Abdullah's acceptance of Islam and expressed their ongoing support for his spiritual journey. This conversion highlights the growing interest in Islam among expatriates working in the Maldives, many of whom are adopting the faith during their stay.
