Ahmed Shakir Appointed as Non-Executive Director to Island Aviation's Board

Ahmed Shakir has been appointed as a non-executive director to the board of Island Aviation Services Ltd. The announcement was made by the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB). Shakir, who previously served as a non-executive director on the board of Aasandha Company, brings a wealth of experience from various high-level positions within the government, including roles in the Ministry of Health and as the Director of Hulhumale Hospital. Shakir holds a postgraduate diploma in Health Education from the International Institute for Population Sciences in India and has also worked in community health. His appointment is expected to contribute significantly to the strategic direction of Island Aviation.
