Police have arrested 25-year-old Ali Zuman of Kuruhavah, Haa Alifu Baarah, on charges of inciting unrest. According to police, Zuman was arrested under a court order for allegedly using social media to encourage arson attacks on government buildings and vehicles, and to incite the looting of a shop. The arrest comes as part of a wider investigation into calls for protests against the transfer of Rasmalé land to Eagle Hills, a company linked to Israel. Former Deputy Minister Hassan Zihan was also arrested last Tuesday on similar charges for posting on Facebook urging people to set fire to the Supreme Court, the President's Office, and the Parliament.
