Applications Open for Debate Competition to Mark 46th Fishermen's Day

The Ministry of Fisheries and Ocean Resources has opened applications for a debate competition to be held in conjunction with the 46th Fishermen's Day. Scheduled from December 3rd to December 7th, the competition will be held under the theme “Increasing Youth Participation in the Fisheries Industry.” Teams from higher education institutions, academies, clubs, associations, offices, and companies are eligible to participate, alongside private teams. Each team must consist of three members, with an additional two allowed as substitutes. The competition is open to individuals who have turned 16 by January of this year. The ministry will select the top three participants and the top three teams. Applications must be submitted before 14:00 hrs on the 5th of next month.
