Applications Open July 12 for President's Special Award for High Achievers
World ·
The Special Awards Committee has announced that applications for this year's President's Special Award for High Achievers will officially open on Sunday, 12 July. This prestigious recognition aims to honor exceptional individuals who have demonstrated outstanding achievement across various fields.
Eligible candidates must submit their applications through the official President's Office Form Submission portal. The window for submissions will remain open until 2:00 pm on Monday, 31 August 2026. This digital-only submission process is designed to streamline the application and review phases.
Continuing the tradition of the award, the Committee confirmed that honors will be presented in four distinct categories this year. While specific category details are outlined in the application portal, the awards remain a cornerstone of the state's efforts to recognize excellence within the Maldivian community.
To ensure a smooth evaluation process, the Committee has urged all applicants to meticulously review the instructions and provide all necessary supporting documentation. The Committee emphasized that incomplete applications or those missing required evidence may face delays or disqualification.
Special attention must be paid to the certification of documents. In accordance with Regulation No. 2019/R-1067, issued under Article 72(a) of the Maldives Legal Profession Act, any supporting documents printed on both sides must have each side certified as a true copy. Failure to comply with these legal certification standards could result in the rejection of the submission.
Applicants are encouraged to begin preparing their dossiers early to avoid last-minute technical issues with the portal, ensuring their achievements are presented accurately and in full compliance with the state's regulatory requirements.
