Arabian Travel Market 2026 Moved to September to Boost Global Participation
Politics ·
The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) and Travel Tech 2026 have been rescheduled to September 14–17 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This marks the latest adjustment to the event's timeline, following a previous postponement from May to August.
Organizers stated that the shift to September is intended to increase exhibitor confidence and provide greater operational flexibility. The new dates are designed to facilitate easier access for international buyers, destinations, and travel experts, ensuring a higher caliber of global participation.
As one of the Middle East's largest business-to-business showcases, ATM serves as a vital hub where tourism boards, airlines, hotels, and travel technology providers gather for networking and contracting. The event provides a strategic platform for promoting various sectors, including luxury travel, leisure, and MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) tourism.
For the Maldives, ATM remains a critical pillar of its international marketing strategy. The event allows the Maldives to maintain its visibility in the Middle East and the wider global market, securing essential contracts and partnerships with international travel suppliers.
Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC) has confirmed it is coordinating logistics with the event organizers and local exhibitors. VMC assured stakeholders that the updated schedule will not affect stand allocations, branding presence, or the overall participation of Maldivian entities.
This rescheduling reflects the growing significance of the Middle East as a central node in the global aviation and tourism network. All planned sessions, exhibitor activities, and professional discussions will proceed as scheduled under the new September timeline.
