The Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2026 has been rescheduled. Originally planned for May, the major travel trade event will now take place from August 17 to 20, 2026, at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The decision to postpone the 33rd edition of ATM was made by event organiser RX, according to the Visit Maldives Corporation (VMC). The move aims to prioritise the safety and well-being of all attendees, including customers, partners, and colleagues. VMC stated that shifting the dates to August provides the global travel and tourism community with greater confidence and flexibility to participate. VMC has assured that logistical adjustments related to the rescheduling will be managed in close coordination with RX. For the Maldives' national delegation, the transition is expected to be smooth. All co-exhibitors registered for the Maldives stand will retain their participation, with stand allocations and branding presence carried forward to the new August dates. As a premier global platform connecting destinations, airlines, and technology providers, ATM is a cornerstone of the Maldives' international tourism marketing strategy. VMC highlighted that the revised August schedule offers a strategic advantage, allowing the destination to engage with key Middle Eastern markets and global partners just ahead of the crucial peak winter tourism season. The corporation has committed to supporting all Maldivian participants throughout the transition period, promising regular updates to ensure a successful national presence at the event in Dubai.
