Arsenal beat Lille 3-0 in the UEFA Champions League at the Emirates Stadium, with all three goals coming in the second half.
The match was played in London in front of more than 57,000 fans. Both teams produced a fairly even first half, but Arsenal improved significantly after the break and scored not long after the second half began.
Arsenal broke the deadlock in the 64th minute through defender Jurrien Timber, who scored from a corner delivered by Noni Madueke.
After Arsenal took the lead, coach Mikel Arteta made changes at once. Mikel Merino, Noni Madueke, Martin Odegaard, Bukayo Saka and Kai Havertz were brought on, with Odegaard replacing Viktor Gyokeres.
In the second minute after those changes, Eberechi Eze scored from a Bukayo Saka assist to extend Arsenal's lead. Four minutes later, Bukayo Saka scored from a Kai Havertz pass to make it 3-0.
With the result, Arsenal have won both of their two Champions League matches and have six points.
