Baibala Revival Training Program Successfully Concludes in Maunugudo

A special training program aimed at reviving the sport of baibala in Maunugudo has been successfully concluded. The program, jointly organized by the Baibala Foundation and the ATM Committee working for women's development in Maunugudo, trained a total of 26 individuals interested in pursuing careers as baibala officials. Participants were taught the rules and main principles of baibala through both theoretical and practical sessions. The ATM Committee stated that the primary objective of the program was to revive and restart the sport of baibala, which was previously played enthusiastically on the island but later became inactive. With trained officials now available in the village, the committee expressed that there is a significant opportunity to formally organize and conduct official baibala matches and tournaments in Maunugudo in accordance with established regulations in the future.
