Barcelona Stars Want More Success: Flick

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has said the club’s players, especially those who won the World Cup, want more success. He made the remarks ahead of tonight’s UEFA Champions League match against Turkey’s Galatasaray. After traveling to Turkey, Flick said his team will take the match very seriously. “Our players want more success. Especially the players who won the World Cup, how much they want more success will be seen in this match. The players are very focused in training,” the coach said. Barcelona’s biggest target this season is also to win the Champions League. Flick said he is very satisfied with the team after it won all eight matches it has played in the Spanish La Liga this season. He also praised the performances in the last match of English forward Anthony Gordon and Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus, two players brought from the English Premier League. “Jesus is a player who wants to progress a lot. A very professional player. I thank him for the performance seen from him and the effort he makes. And Gordon too is now there with a lot of confidence,” Flick said. However, Flick did not confirm that team captain Raphinha will play in this match. Due to an injury sustained while playing for the national team, he also did not take part in Barcelona’s most recent match. It is widely expected that Barcelona are working to get Raphinha fit for next week’s Spanish La Liga match against rivals Real Madrid.
