A bill to introduce a home schooling program tailored to children's disabilities and mental health conditions was submitted for discussion at today's session of the People's Majlis. The bill, presented on behalf of the government by Dr. Anara Naeem, Member of Parliament for Hura constituency, outlines the conditions and procedures for providing school education at home based on assessments of a student's disability or mental health condition. The bill states that school education can be provided at home for children who are unable to attend school due to physical, mental, or other special conditions. It also aims to further detail the roles of parents, teachers, and principals in implementing the school education system and to resolve difficulties encountered in implementing other laws. Additionally, the bill includes provisions for every government school to provide free breakfast to children who face difficulties obtaining breakfast during school hours, along with certain amendments to the Education Act.
