BML Opens 25 Technology Internship Opportunities Under Its Internship Programme

Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for 25 opportunities dedicated to the technology field under its internship programme. According to BML, the programme is an opportunity designed to give young Maldivians practical experience in the bank's technology and other diverse fields. Under the programme, successful candidates will get the chance to work at the bank for one year. Through the programme, interns will have the opportunity to take part in important projects carried out by the bank and to learn work under the guidance of experienced staff. Those selected for the internship will receive a monthly allowance of MVR 11,000, along with a Ramadan allowance, 15 days of annual leave and 10 days for family obligations. Applications are open only to Maldivians above 18 years of age. Applicants must either be currently pursuing education or have completed education in a field related to technology. In addition, the opportunity has also been opened to those with technical skills in this field. Those who perform well in the programme will have the path opened to secure permanent employment at the bank. BML introduced its internship programme in 2018. Under the programme, 98 interns have so far completed training across seven batches, and 60 percent of them have been given permanent employment at the bank.
