BML opens applications for MVR 500,000 Startup Grant

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced the opening of applications for its annual Startup Grant, offering financial assistance of MVR 500,000 to two selected recipients. The grant, introduced in 2022, aims to support Maldivian entrepreneurs in starting or expanding their businesses. Alongside the financial aid, recipients will receive one year of mentorship from a dedicated relationship manager. Applications are open to individuals and newly registered businesses. Eligible applicants must be Maldivian citizens aged between 18 and 60 with an innovative and sustainable business plan. Submissions must be made via email to startupgrant@bml.com.mv before 2:00 PM on November 10.
