BML Startup Grant Applications Close Tuesday

The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced that the deadline for applications for this year's Startup Grant will be next Tuesday. Applications for the Startup Grant can be submitted via email to startupgrant@bml.com.mv by 2 pm next Tuesday. Under this grant, each of the two selected entities will receive financial assistance of MVR 500,000. As part of providing technical support needed to develop the business, BML will also provide one year of mentorship support under the guidance of a special relationship manager at the bank. Individuals and newly registered businesses can also apply for this grant. The BML Startup Grant was introduced in 2022 with the aim of providing free funding to start a business or further expand a business that is less than one year old.
