The agreement, signed on December 3rd, 2025, covers the construction of 19,001 square meters of asphalt roads to modern standards, including roads in Phase I and near Vinares flats in Phase II. Additionally, Rotime will repair 8,012 square meters of damaged roads in both phases. The project replaces a previously planned temporary workers’ accommodation project, which was halted due to revisions to the Hulhumale’ masterplan. The total cost, including Goods and Services Tax, will be allocated over seven years, with 50% paid in the first year and the remainder spread over the following six years.
