Crystal Symphony, an ultra-luxury cruise ship operated by Crystal Cruises, arrived in the Maldivian capital, Male’, on Wednesday with over 500 tourists. According to Maldives Immigration, the ship’s arrival marked the provision of en-route immigration clearance services for 548 passengers and 489 crew members. The ship is set to depart from Male’ to Colombo, Sri Lanka, at 07:00 pm on Thursday. Refurbished last year, Crystal Symphony offers butler service in all suites, acclaimed dining experiences, a 3,000-square-foot fitness center, and a high space-to-guest ratio. The ship also visited the Maldives in January with over 400 tourists, marking the arrival of the first cruise liner of the year. The Maldives has seen frequent cruise ship visits recently, with cruise agents noting that the expansion and upgrade of the Male’ ring road has helped address previous challenges in catering to passengers.
