Dhiraagu Crowned Maldives’ Broadband Telecom Company of the Year at Asian Telecom Awards

Dhiraagu has been awarded the Maldives' Broadband Telecom Company of the Year at the Asian Telecom Awards 2026. The Asian Telecom Awards recognizes exceptional achievements in the telecom industry across the region, highlighting advancements that reshape the digital landscape. The award acknowledges Dhiraagu’s successful delivery of 100 percent high-speed fiber broadband access to every household on every inhabited island in the Maldives. Ismail Rasheed, CEO and Managing Director of Dhiraagu, expressed pride in receiving the award, emphasizing the company’s commitment to nationwide digital inclusion and exceptional broadband experiences. Dhiraagu also boasts 100 percent 4G broadband coverage across inhabited islands, resort islands, and major industrial islands, with 5G services reaching 73 percent of the population.
