Dhiraagu has opened applications for its Apprenticeship Program 2027.
The program is carried out under Dhiraagu's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to empower youth, and is described as the first corporate apprenticeship program introduced in the country on a wide scale.
The main objective of the program is to make youth aware of the employment environment. Through the program, participants will receive various training and opportunities to gain experience in the employment environment, including the chance to earn income while gaining work experience and training.
Areas in which training and experience are offered include Dhiraagu Analytics and Business Intelligence, Brand and Marketing Communications, Cloud and IT Services, Corporate Services, Cyber Security, Financial Accounting, Human Resources, Revenue Assurance, Business Control Sales, and Stores and Procurement.
The program is targeted at Maldivian youth aged between 18 and 30 years. All youths who have completed A-Level and are not employed full-time can also participate.
It will also be conducted at Dhiraagu's operation centres established in Malé, Hdh. Kulhudhuffushi, B. Addu City, and L. Atoll.
All participating youths will receive training from employees of various Dhiraagu departments on important information needed in the employment environment, such as developing soft skills, time management, and how to run projects.
Since the Dhiraagu Apprenticeship Program started in 2009, a total of 312 youths have participated in the program by the end of today. Many former graduates of the program are currently working in Dhiraagu and other organizations across the country.
Those interested can apply online, and the form must be submitted by the end of this month.
