FDC Chairperson Nashwa Abdulla Dismissed

Nashwa Abdulla was dismissed on Thursday from her position as Chairperson of the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC), a state-owned enterprise responsible for managing social housing projects. The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced her dismissal in a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday afternoon. The PCB stated that Nashwa was removed from her role 'as of today' but did not provide specific reasons for the decision. Nashwa, who has over 16 years of experience in public infrastructure, was appointed as FDC Chairperson on January 8, 2024. Previously, she held various roles in government ministries and served as a director at the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
