Foakaidhoo Council Bans Vehicle Parking in Designated Area

The Foakaidhoo Council has imposed a ban on vehicle parking in a specific area of the island, citing powers granted under the Local Government Act of the Maldives. According to the council, the no-parking zone begins at the garbage dump and extends up to Friday Mosque Road. The council has warned that individuals violating this rule will face fines ranging from MVR 500 to MVR 5,000, as stipulated by the same act.
