Foreign Minister Khaleel Reaffirms Maldives' Diplomatic Principles at Doha Forum

Foreign Minister Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has concluded an official visit to Qatar, where he led the Maldivian delegation at the 23rd Doha Forum. The high-level international conference, held on December 6 and 7, convened global leaders and policymakers to address pressing worldwide challenges. A central part of the minister's participation was his address at a high-level ministerial roundtable focused on 'Upholding International Justice Systems and the Rule of Law.' In his remarks, Dr. Khaleel strongly reaffirmed the Maldives' commitment to the core principles of diplomacy and the rule of law. He emphasized the critical need to strengthen international justice systems, positioning the Maldives as a constructive voice in global governance discussions. The delegation's active involvement in this major forum underscores the Maldivian government's ongoing dedication to impactful multilateral engagement on the world stage. Minister Khaleel was accompanied by a senior team including Additional Secretary Khadeeja Najeeha, Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of the Maldives in Doha Mohamed Didi, Joint Secretary Mariyam Midhfa Naeem, and Second Secretary Mohamed Thahseen.
