Former MP Wahid Says He Will Side with Child Until Adult Proven Guilty in Shahid Case

Local News ·
Former Ungufaru constituency Member of Parliament Mohammed Wahid (Wadde) has stated that when a person is arrested on suspicion of sexually abusing a child, until it is clearly proven that the adult is not guilty, he will accept and sympathize with the abused child. Wadde made these remarks following the arrest of former Foreign Minister Abdullah Shahid on suspicion of sexually abusing a child. In a social media post, Wadde said the value of a child's entire life is greater than the price of a senior figure's political career. He added that until it is clear like daylight that the adult is not guilty, he will accept and sympathize with the child, not the adult.
