Funadhoo Fire: 33 Displaced, No Serious Injuries

A fire at a petrol shed in Funadhoo, Shaviyani Atoll, has led to the relocation of 33 people, according to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA). The fire affected five homes and four workshops or warehouses, with one house severely damaged. No serious injuries were reported. The local hospital treated 20 people, including eight for burns, two for smoke inhalation, and ten for other injuries. As of 2:30 PM today, all but one person have been discharged; the remaining person is receiving treatment for anxiety related to the incident.
