Gaafu Atoll Joint Agency Forum 2026 held to bolster community security

Information on anti-drug operations was presented, current situations were discussed, and consultations were held on how joint agencies can collectively tackle drug-related issues in various islands. The forum also identified measures for councils and schools to jointly sustain in protecting children from criminal environments, which have been included in the 2027 work plan. Additionally, consultations addressed specific areas requiring joint agency collaboration to reduce issues in the coming years, and key actions for various islands were highlighted. The forum is scheduled to be held once a year.
