Gadhdhoo Hospital's New Building Officially Inaugurated

The official inauguration ceremony of Gadhdhoo Hospital's new building was held today on Gadhdhoo. The event was attended by the Minister of Health, Honorable Abdulla Nazeem Ibrahim, along with other dignitaries and local council members. The new facility includes a 30-bed block with two wings, designed to provide comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The project, costing MVR 101.70 million, was completed within 600 days and is expected to significantly improve healthcare access for the island's 2,700 residents. The construction was carried out by the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), which has been instrumental in numerous development projects across the country since its establishment in 1980. The new hospital is anticipated to serve as a key health hub for the region, offering enhanced medical services and facilities to the local population.
