Gawin Ramadan Sale: Big Discounts on Fridges and Washing Machines

Gawin has launched a promotion offering special discounts on fridges and washing machines ahead of the upcoming Ramadan month. Under the sale, the products being offered at reduced prices are from "Avin", Gawin's own brand, the shop said. Accordingly, an Avin 10-kilogram washing machine previously sold for MVR 9,000 will now be available for MVR 7,020. In addition, a single-door fridge will be available for MVR 7,560 and a double-door fridge for MVR 9,720 under the promotion. According to Gawin, all items in the promotion will be available at all of the company's outlets. Free delivery has also been arranged for boats berthed at Malé's harbour, in addition to the Greater Malé area. In addition to this promotion, a special "Weekend Sale" has also been decided to be held in front of the Hulhumalé showroom every weekend. The sale will be held every Friday and Saturday from 4:00pm to 6:00pm and from 8:00pm to 10:00pm. Calendars show the first day of Ramadan next year will be February 7, and many people are already preparing to buy household items for the period. Gawin's outlets are located on Reethigas Magu in Hulhumalé, Majeedhee Magu in Malé (in front of Star Restaurant), and Boduthakurufaanu Magu (near MPL). Except on Fridays, the shops will be open every day from 9:00am to 10:00pm.
