Government Proposes Merging Presidential and Parliamentary Elections

The government has proposed a bill to combine the presidential and parliamentary elections into a single event, aiming to streamline the electoral process and reduce costs. Additionally, the bill includes amendments to the term duration of the parliament, setting it to end on December 1, 2028.
