HDC Cancels Solarius Hospitality Lease Over Unpaid Rent in Hulhumale

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has cancelled the business agreement operated by Solarius Hospitality Private Limited at Lot Number 10877 in Hulhumale due to long-term non-payment of rent, bringing the land under HDC control. The site, which houses the popular 'Reveli Beach Club and Restaurant' and 'Nami at Reveli', was operated by Solarius Hospitality Group. In an announcement issued today, HDC stated the cancellation takes effect from 2 November 2026, and directed that no business transactions or services be provided to Solarius Hospitality on that land from today. The corporation said the decision followed all necessary notices and opportunities as per the lease agreement, emphasizing its aim to provide the widest possible opportunities for businesses in Hulhumale.
