HDC reopens Hulhumale wooden jetty after repairs

The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has reopened the Hulhumale wooden jetty to the public after completing repairs, following significant damage caused when a barge struck the structure's northern pillar. The jetty was temporarily closed on May 26 of this year to ensure safety while HDC conducted assessments. HDC announced today that the repairs have been completed and the jetty is now open. The corporation stated that its objective is to further strengthen the facilities established in Hulhumale and to create conducive conditions for the public to receive services as easily as possible.
