The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has issued an urgent advisory to the public, warning residents and commuters to stay clear of closed-off roadwork areas throughout Hulhumalé. In a formal statement, the corporation explained that road repairs are being executed in strategic phases. This phased approach is designed to minimize daily disruptions for residents while ensuring that essential infrastructure upgrades are completed efficiently. To safeguard the public and expedite the construction process, HDC has implemented temporary road closures. The corporation emphasizes that these restrictions are critical safety measures. Beyond the maintenance of existing thoroughfares, HDC is also finalizing road networks connecting the Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation (FDC) flats in Hulhumalé Phase II.
