Ibrahim AbdulRazzaq Haleem, the CEO of Male' City Group of Hospitals (IGMH), has been appointed as the Chairman of the State Pharmaceutical and Medical Supply Corporation Limited. This appointment was made by the Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) following a recent post. Haleem is a seasoned professional in the healthcare sector with extensive experience in managing large-scale medical operations. The government introduced a new pharmaceutical supply initiative in September this year to address concerns over shortages in essential medicines in major hospitals. Despite this, public anxiety over the availability of critical drugs remains high. Haleem's appointment aims to strengthen the leadership of the pharmaceutical supply chain, ensuring better management and distribution of medical supplies.
