IGMH Plans Home Nursing Services, Seeks Vehicles for Rollout
Health ·
Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) has announced plans to introduce home nursing care services, allowing nurses and healthcare professionals to provide medical support to patients in their homes. As part of the preparations, the hospital has opened bidding for the supply of five motorcycles—two Honda Airblades and three Honda Scoopy models—to facilitate staff travel for home-based care and other hospital-related duties. The winning bidder will handle clearing, registration, roadworthiness, and insurance fees for the vehicles. While the service has been announced, IGMH has yet to confirm a start date. This initiative comes amid ongoing public concerns over long queues and delays in treatment at the hospital.
