IGMH to Hold Special Surgical Camp at Gaamu Regional Hospital

INDIRA GANDHI MEMORIAL HOSPITAL (IGMH), which operates under the Male' City Group of Hospitals, is set to hold a special surgical camp at the Gaamu Regional Hospital from 29th to 31st of this month. The camp is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Gaamu Regional Hospital, with the aim of bringing specialist surgical services closer to the residents of the region. A team of nine doctors, including specialists and sub-specialists, will participate in the camp. The team includes Dr. Abdullah Ubayd (general and laparoscopic surgery), Dr. Hammaad Adam (colorectal and oncological surgery), Dr. Mohamed Waheed (plastic, reconstructive surgery and chronic wound care), Dr. Mohamed Rifshan Ismail (plastic, reconstructive surgery and chronic wound care), Dr. Abdullah Adhsaru (urological surgery), Dr. Aishath Azna Ali (gastrointestinal surgery and bariatric surgery), Dr. Mohamed Shifaan (oncological surgery), Dr. Hussain Hameed (vascular surgery), and Dr. Mohamed Shareef Abdul Majeed (general and laparoscopic surgery). The camp will provide surgical consultations and services. This initiative is part of IGMH's efforts to ensure that quality healthcare is accessible across different regions of the Maldives.
