Israel Kills Two Palestinians, Wounds 18 in Gaza Despite Ceasefire

International ·
Israeli forces killed two Palestinians and injured 18 others in Gaza on Saturday, marking another breach of the ceasefire agreement. According to medical sources, an 11-year-old girl was fatally shot in the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza while in a designated safe area. A 45-year-old woman was also killed in the same area. Additionally, a Palestinian was wounded near Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis, also in a zone from which Israeli forces had withdrawn. In southern Gaza, Israeli gunfire injured 17 Palestinians on the outskirts of Rafah, transferring most to Nasser Medical Complex for treatment. Since the ceasefire began on October 10, Israel has committed hundreds of violations, resulting in 418 Palestinian deaths and 1,171 injuries. The truce ended Israel's two-year war that killed nearly 71,400 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and left Gaza in ruins. Despite the ceasefire, deadly attacks on Gaza continue.
