Katrina Kaif, the newly appointed global ambassador for Visit Maldives, has not yet confirmed her travel dates to the Maldives, Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree stated on Tuesday. Visit Maldives announced Kaif’s appointment on June 10 as part of its global promotional campaign, where she is expected to promote the Maldives and share her experiences with international audiences. Shiuree mentioned that Kaif recently gave birth, and her travel plans have not been finalized. 'Although we have not been given a specific date, we believe she will visit as soon as possible according to her schedule,' he said. Kaif and her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, announced the birth of their son last month, and Visit Maldives congratulated her on Instagram. The appointment is part of Visit Maldives’ broader marketing strategy to position the Maldives as a luxury destination.
