Kinolhah Health Center Expansion to Extend Service Hours and Add Beds

Construction is underway on a new extension building for the R. Kinolhas Health Center in Kinolhah, a village of 600 people. Currently, the health center operates for only eight hours a day, from 8 am to 4 pm, with just one doctor and about 12 staff members. The expansion will increase the number of admission beds and allow for extended service hours. Council Chairperson Ahmed Hussain said the project, needed for about 10 years, will also include a laboratory and a public health unit. Laboratory services are expected to start within the next two months.
