Kulhudhuffushi City Council Opens Registration for Cross-Stitching Course Aimed at Empowering Women

The Kulhudhuffushi City Council has opened registration for a cross-stitching training course designed to provide income-generating opportunities for residents, particularly women who are not currently employed. The course, scheduled from November 21 to 27, 2026, aims to enhance the skills of housewives and increase the availability of handmade products. In collaboration with Abdu Mdives, the course will be held at Lagundi Malee Maalam (N.O.S Building 2nd Floor Hall) and is limited to 30 participants from Kulhudhuffushi City. The course will be taught by Alfazila Amina Shihana, known as "Abdu." Registration was open until noon on November 8, 2026, with details on participant selection and the course schedule made public by the Council.
