Lack of Quorum Halts Male City Council Meeting

The Male City Council meeting scheduled for today was unable to proceed due to a lack of quorum. Mayor Adam Azim announced that the meeting could not be convened as only seven out of the required ten members were present. The Mayor explained that while a total of seven members attended in person and one joined online, the required number of ten members for a quorum was not met. This marks the second consecutive meeting in recent months that has been canceled due to insufficient attendance. The Male City Council, which consists of 18 members, has faced recurring issues with member participation, leading to delays in addressing key agenda items.
