Large wave hits Lhaimagah, damages houses and warehouses, one injured

A large wave that hit Lhaimagah today has caused significant damage to about four houses and some warehouses in the island, and one person was injured after being hit by a flying tin sheet. The head of the injured person split open, and they are currently receiving treatment at a health center. In addition to roofs of houses being torn off, various types of damage have been inflicted on some warehouses. According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), the situation is being closely monitored, and the Lhaimagah Council is working to assess the damages by gathering details of the losses.
