Maldives and India Pledge to Strengthen Strategic Bilateral Partnership and Cooperation

The Maldives and India have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening a longstanding bilateral partnership following high-level diplomatic talks between Foreign Minister Iruthisham Adam and Indian External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.

Minister Iruthisham Adam expressed his appreciation for India's continued support in the Maldives' growth. This visit marks Minister Iruthisham Adam’s first official trip to India since assuming office. The visit was conducted at the invitation of Dr. S. Jaishankar, signaling a continued desire for stability and growth in the relationship between the two neighbors.
