Maldives and Malaysia Strengthen Ties in Tourism and Higher Education Cooperation

Vice President Hussain Mohamed Latheef and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim met on Tuesday morning to explore new avenues for bilateral cooperation, focusing specifically on the strategic sectors of tourism and higher education. The high-level discussions took place at Niva Kurumba Maldives during Prime Minister Anwar’s official state visit to the country. The meeting served as a platform to reaffirm the longstanding diplomatic ties and mutual respect shared between the Maldives and Malaysia.
