Maldives Condemns Houthi Attacks on Saudi Vessel and Oil Facilities

The Maldives has strongly condemned recent Houthi attacks on a Saudi vessel in the Red Sea, describing the actions as a grave threat to international maritime security and regional stability. In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned that such incidents endanger the safety of international navigation in one of the world's most critical shipping corridors. The government highlighted that persistent attacks in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait risk disrupting global energy supplies.
