Maldives Dominates Bangladesh 6-1 in SAFF Futsal Championship

The Maldives national futsal team continued its impressive run in the SAFF Futsal Championship with a commanding 6-1 victory over Bangladesh in their second match of the tournament. The game, held in Thailand, saw the Maldivian team dominate from start to finish. Goals came from Mohamed Imran, Ishan Ibrahim, Ahmed Rahil Rasheed (who scored twice), Ali Shiyah, and Abdulla Shafiu. The team built a decisive lead in the first half with four goals, while Bangladesh managed just one before halftime. In the second half, Rahil Rasheed and Shafiu sealed the victory with two more goals. This follows Maldives’ emphatic 7-1 win over Pakistan in their opening match. With two consecutive victories, Maldives now leads the tournament table with six points. They will face India in their next match on Monday.
