Maldives' First Female Pilot Receives Special Honor

This year, Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL) awarded a special honor to the country's first female pilot, Andrew Hall. The recognition was bestowed during a ceremony held at Velana International Airport's Arrivals Hall. Andrew Hall, who hails from Germany, is recognized as the first female pilot to fly to the Maldives. Alongside Hall, the event also honored two other women pilots. Ali Mustafa, Chief Passenger Service Officer at MACL, presented the honor, highlighting Hall's pioneering role in aviation history for the Maldives. The ceremony underscored MACL's commitment to celebrating milestones in aviation and encouraging more women to join the field.
