Maldives to Face South Korea in Opening Match of China International Futsal Tournament

Maldives will face South Korea in their first match of the China International Futsal Tournament, which is scheduled to be held in Yinchuan, China, from November 4 to 9. The Maldives' opening match against South Korea is set for November 5. In addition to China and South Korea, Hong Kong will participate in the tournament. The Maldives' second match will be against Hong Kong on November 7, and their final match, on November 9, will be against tournament host China. The tournament is an important opportunity for the Maldivian team to assess its level on the international stage, play against strong Asian teams and gain significant experience. The national futsal team is currently continuing preparations. Earlier this year, at the first SAFF Futsal Championship, the Maldives won all its matches and secured its first international title. Highlighting the progress of Maldivian futsal at the regional level, the best futsal player was also selected at the recent FAM Awards ceremony. After completing the national team's preparations, the team is scheduled to depart for China early next month.
