Maldivian Announces Direct Flights to Jeddah for Umrah Pilgrims During School Holidays

Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, has announced special non-stop flights from Male’ to Jeddah during the upcoming school holidays. This initiative offers a convenient travel option for Maldivians planning to undertake the Umrah pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia. The airline will operate three flights from Male’ to Jeddah on December 27 and 28, with return flights scheduled for January 10, 11, and 12, ensuring ample time for pilgrims to complete their spiritual journey. Return fares start at USD 750, inclusive of a 45kg baggage allowance, which accommodates travelers bringing back items such as Zamzam water. The flights will be operated using Maldivian’s Airbus A330 aircraft, providing spacious and comfortable seating for families and elderly travelers. Tickets must be booked by December 20 to secure preferred travel dates.
