Ahmed Adhuham and Abdulla Shamrook, the founders of the Maldivian hit band 2ofus, have been announced as featured international performers at the National Street Food Festival (NSFF) 2025 in India. This event, one of Asia’s largest cultural celebrations, will be held at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi from December 12th to December 14th. The duo, along with renowned Maldivian artist Raaif, will deliver a dynamic live performance blending island rhythms with modern fusion and global influences, entertaining an audience expected to reach hundreds of thousands over the three-day festival. Their participation marks a significant milestone for Maldivian music on the world stage, strengthening cultural and artistic ties between the Maldives and India. Adhuham and Shamrook expressed their pride in representing their country at such a global event, stating, 'To perform at one of the world’s biggest street food and cultural festivals is a proud moment for us and for Maldivian music as a whole.' The National Street Food Festival, hosted by the National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI), features over 500 regional dishes, international live performances, cultural displays, artisan stalls, and traditional activities. Adhuham, known for his original compositions and energetic live shows, and Shamrook, one of the Maldives’ foremost drummers, embody the creative vision behind 2ofus, a group that has rapidly become one of the Maldives’ most impactful musical forces. The festival will also highlight the collaboration between 2ofus, Me2Films, and Folk n Folk through the Battle of the Bands International, which has been instrumental in their global rise.
