Maldivian Chef Mahaa Naseer Wins Top Outstanding Master Chef Award of Maldives Cuisine

Maldivian chef Mahaa Naseer has been awarded the "Top Outstanding Master Chef Award of Maldives Cuisine" at the World Top Gourmet Awards 2026, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The ceremony took place on 22nd of this month at the Andaman Grand Ballroom, featuring participation from renowned chefs and high-profile figures in the culinary industry worldwide. Mahaa Naseer, who also serves as a board director of Visit Maldives Corporation, previously earned the "Master Chef" title from the Master Chef Society of the World in 2022. She is also a continental judge for the World Association of Chefs Societies (WACS). The World Top Gourmet Awards, organized by World Gourmet Malaysia, have been recognizing outstanding achievements in the culinary field since 2017. This year, a total of 108 awards were presented across chefs, restaurants, and food brands. Chef Mahaa's international achievement highlights the skill of Maldivian chefs and further promotes Maldivian cuisine on the global stage.
